Friday 23rd.  A very light ESE'ly slowly strengthened to light over the day, a day of overcast skies that only brightened late in the afternoon.  The result was a delayed start to flying and subsequently a quiet day, with all of the day's six 2 seater flights for  First Flight pupils and 3 single seater flights shared between Steve Ogden and Dave Thompson in the DG303.  The improving conditions in the afternoon allowed Dave to soar for 1:10 off his second flight, by far the best of the day, with Steve having 37 minutes earlier in the afternoon. The Falke had a single flight and visited Helmsley,
