Addendum to Tuesday’s Entry

A fleet of over 30 vintage and classic cars from a bygone era dropped in at the club to admire the view, watch the gliding and sample Liz's famous lunchtime fare. See pic below. Not surprisingly the car owners had a lot in common with most YGC members present being of the same vintage themselves. "I used to drive one of those" was a frequent comment. They came from just N of London ( yes, they drove up the White Horse Bank!) and are on a grand tour of Yorkshire. They were made very welcome - good company and beautifully preserved cars.

This blog describes a snippet of life at the Yorkshire Gliding Club. Why not take a flight and try it yourself, or we can teach you to fly as a full club member.
