Friday 7th to Sunday 9th. A large area of high pressure had become established to the E of the UK with the result that an initial E'ly flow slowly backed into the NE over the reported 3 days, the wind strength varying between moderate to light. Cloudiness was much more consistent, each day being gloomy with a low overcast and light rain/drizzle from time and maximum temperatures being in the range 4-6 C so there was no flying.
