Monday 11th.  A moderate SE'ly soon increased to moderate to fresh and backed into the ESE, so that after an 18 minute flight in K21 JVZ for Guy Harland and a First Flight pupil, flying was abandoned for the day.

Tuesday 12th.  A flabby low sent a band of rain northwards this arriving at site around 1100 hrs, as a light to moderate NNW'ly blew, the rain being preceded by very poor visibility.  Consequently, there was no flying.  The day was however not a complete wash out, as representatives from Channel 4 visited to outline and discuss their plans for filming an episode on gliding later in the month as part of a TV series on hobbies.
