Monday 4th to Tuesday 5th November 2024

Monday 4th. The anticyclonic gloom continued, with the wind becoming light to calm, but the overcast had risen sufficiently to allow flying, although AT release heights were limited to between 1,200' to 1,700' QFE. All the day's flying in K21 JVZ was for 3 First Flight pupils, with each of them given 2 flights due to the restricted release heights and consequential short flight durations, Guy Harland and Ian McFarlane sharing P1 duties. In addition, Ian had 2 flights in the Falke, one with Paul Whitehead as P1 and one solo.
Tuesday 5th. The anticyclonic gloom got even gloomier as the overcast lowered, so there was no flying, the wind ranging from calm to a light SSE'ly.
