Saturday 6th. With the club closed, all there is to write about is the weather, which, as forecast, was wet and windy as a depression in the North Sea trundled southwards. The result at site was a fresh and gusty NW'ly that veered into the N over the course of the day, maximum gusts recorded at RAF Topcliffe being 37 kts, while 4.4mm of rain resulted from showers and longer periods of rain.
