Sunday 29th September to Tuesday 1st October 2024

Sunday 29th.  A light to moderate SE'ly blew all day under cloudy skies as a front approached from the W.  With no usable lift, the day's 13 ATs off runway 20 were all extended circuits with one of the day's 6 First Flight pupils sharing the longest flight time of 24 minutes with Nobby Noble/Andrew Cowey in K21 JVZ.  The Falke also flew, doing an O/R to North Duffield which encompassed some launch failure and field landing practice.

Monday 30th.  A wet September concluded with another wet day as a depression slowly tracked from W to E to the S of the UK, the moderate E'ly slowly backing into the N over the course of the day, the accompanying rain and low cloud precluding any flying.

Tuesday 1st.  The low pressure centre was now just to the E of East Anglia, providing a cloudy, wet, moderate and at times moderate to fresh N'ly at Sutton, so there was no flying.
