Thursday 14th.  A moderate S'ly brought in low cloud and light rain at times, but not before 2 ATs and 2 winch launches had been flown off runway 20.  The 2 ATs were for First Flight pupils, with P1 Dave Campbell posting the longest flight of the day from the second of these, his 24 minutes the result of finding some weak lift on the SW'ly facing part of the main bowl that maintained his height at 1,400' QFE for a while.  The 2 winch launches were for members Neil Amos and Chris Shepherd, their 8-900' release heights in  K21s JVZ and KLW in the company of Bruce Grain and John Carter resulting in extended circuits, as some weak lift was utilised.
