Today gave some soaring for most of the 6 flights during the day shift and some of the 11 Tuesday evening group's flights.

Bob Calvert flew his Discus 2ct around the Pocklington and York areas in his 3hr 40 minute flight.

Dean Crosby launched at 3:40pm after resolving a few technical issues, Guy suggested a Burn out-and-return as there were promising looking clouds, but Dean did better, completing a Thorn out-and-return for around 135km in his 2hr 20 minute flights, returning via a helpful convergence line. The longest other flights were all less than an hour, but included thermal soaring over the moors, none getting much further than Rievaulx Abbey.
