Wednesday 18th. A moderate E'ly blew all day, accompanied by low cloud as Storm Babet slowly approached from the south, an afternoon clearance coming too late for any flying.
Thursday 19th. Storm Babet crossed the site during the night, depositing 13 mm of rain, with the E'ly wind increasing to fresh, but then declining to moderate and veering into the SE. The obstacle to flying was low cloud and occasional rain, so the hangar doors remained closed.
